It had been a dreadfully rainy spring that year. Travel was not beyond her, certainly not, and there was nothing Cyndia liked more than to step outside her own world and see new and beautiful things. But it was rare, mostly because her father was the over protective sort. She managed, from time to time, when things lined up just right. At least when it felt like they would. Sometimes this was just not the case. Her father had been out of town on business anyway, and so taken the private plane with him.

It was a simple fix, a quiet seat up in first class on a trusted airline with a friend-of-her-father's-pilot was no problem. There was nothing to fear, there. The problems started when the plane itself delayed in flight, having to deal with the oncoming torrents of cloud and rain. And then things from there got worse when all her identification and luggage seemed to have gone out with the wind that carried them there. It left her in quite a position.

Not to worry.... surely someone would come by and help. The rushing of the crowds was quite dizzying, though, and no one seemed interested in helping the almost out of place young woman, dressed in a long, flowing garment. Was she that odd outside her own castle? Maybe her father had been right. She should have waited for his return. There had to be someone she could call. She'd only stepped outside for a moment to get some fresh air, but with a number in mind she was ready to make her way back inside.

That was, at least, until someone finally decided to step up and help. With a hard hand on her shoulder, no less. "You need some help there, beautiful?" It was obvious the malicious intent. Everyone else continued to rush by, refusing to make eye-contact, even in her distress.
"Oh, no- I..-"

It was finally over. The Ring was gone and Atem had gone into the afterlife to finally rest in peace after all of those years trapped inside of the Puzzle. He was sad in his heart. He always was, whenever he lost a good friend. But that was in the old days, and he knew that Atem was happy, wherever he was now.

Except now he had gotten separated from Yuugi and the others. Because of some sort of nonsense about checking luggage and his ticket had somehow gone missing, he was stuck in the airport until he could either find his old ticket, or wait until one of his relatives sent over his information so that he could get a new one.

Things were not looking well for him.

He was about to hail a taxi over so that he could go to the hotel they were staying at and start searching there when he saw the woman with a flowing dress outside. She was a very beautiful woman, but Ryou wondered why she was here dressed like that. Was she a cosplayer or something? Either way, it looked like she was about to get into some trouble with that guy touching her shoulder and leaning over her like that.

Well, he wasn't about to let a young woman be at the mercy of that creep for long. He put his carry on bag on his shoulder and walked over to them, looking more confident than he felt.

"It's okay. She was looking for me." He looked right at Cyndia, his face gentle but also subtly telling her that he was trying to help her. "I've been looking everywhere for you. You shouldn't have wandered off like that."

Pegasus, as it turns out, wasn't a pleasure flier himself. Mainly he traveled because it was essential for his business. That's when, of course, he'd gotten a peculiar bad feeling about having Cyndia travel by herself. While she was a little headstrong at times about such things he would've preferred if she had a body guard or someone with her at all times.

Then he got the call. He was informed that the flight had been delayed, and that's when he arrived at the airport himself in record timing, via a car. Croquet and Kemo were bodyguards at his side, and his presence, though public was kept from general harm by them.

"Cyndia...?" He saw the man grabbing her, his gaze turning instantly hard. How dare they touch his wife.

"Cyndia! She doesn't need your help. Cyndia, your father called me after he heard about the plane. I brought a car up...Where's your luggage?"
